The Mediterranean Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (MESPE) has been constituted as an International cultural association between cardiologists with specific experience in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology working in the Mediterranean Countries or with a particular interest in this cardiological activity. The Society is a non profit making organization with its principal office in Reggio Calabria (Italy).
The aims of the Society are the following:
to promote the ethical, scientific and profession level of specialists in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology in the Mediterranean area
to establish connections between MESPE and the other European associations
to contribute, together with other already constituted European Societies, to the development of the knowledges in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology
to permit the attendance of young cardiologists of MESPE in one of the Mediterranean Cardiological Center
to publish the outcome of the MESPE activities and its resolutions
to provide information about Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology to private or public organizations.
To this end the MESPE will organize meetings and scientific congress in a place choosen by the General Council
