Medicine and Technology International fair of medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment

 

MEDICINE AND TECHNOLOGY, the specialized International Fair of medical, labaratory, dental equipment and pharma was held for the first time in 1961. In 36 years of its existence the exhibition has achieved great reputation and has become one of the most important European fairs of this kind.

In 1996. the entire number of 665 exhibitors took part in MEDICINE AND TECHNOLOGY, of which 180 exhibitors from Croatia and 485 from 26 different countries.

The importance that the specialized fair MEDICINE AND TECHNOLOGY has in Croatian health care is a confirmation of the needs of Croatian medicine for the most up to date indispensable equipment. The close cooperation with the Ministry of Health Care of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Health Insurance Institute gives the fair a very important role in the renovation of hospitals and other medical equipment damaged or destroyed in the war.

MEDICINE AND TECHNOLOGY has become an unavoidable meeting place between professional people and experts with the latest world technologies and scientific achievements, and the spot of negotiation of medicine equipment.

The Ministry of the Health Care of Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Health Insurance Institute have foreseen the supply of medical equipment in 1997 amounting to 50 million US $ showed off at the specialized fair MEDICINE AND TECHNOLOGY '97.
