Hong Kong, China, February 21-22, 2004

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we have great pleasure to cordially invite you to join us for the first International Heart Failure Symposium held in Hong Kong.

The aim of the symposium is to bring together physicians and allied professionals involved in the diagnosis, treatment and care of individuals suffering from heart failure, both from Western and Southeast Asian countries to share views and ideas. The symposium will address particularly latest advancement in the management of heart failure, including pharmacotherapy, device therapy and monitoring for heart failure, cardiac resynchronization therapy, the emerging role of echocardiography and cardiac arrhythmia in heart failure. Our two-day program comprises plenary lectures, latest clinical trials announcement, live demonstration, and a Certificate Course for Allied Professionals. In addition, there will be a featured symposium co-hosted by The Faculty of Medicine of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, that will be one of the highlights of the event.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to all international speakers for their invaluable support towards this symposium. We are certain that all participants will find this conference intellectually stimulating and professionally rewarding. We look forward to your participation and wish you all a memorable and fulfilling experience.

Hong Kong has great shopping, sumptuous dining, fascinating culture and heritage. The city also features a stunning harbour with colourful lighting and green vistas, showcasing the city’s energy and vibrancy that will surprise you. There is diversity and sophistication at every turn.
