Device description

The Multipolar Mapping Basket Catheter consist of a chateter shaft with a collapsible, basket-shaped, 32 bipolar electrode array on the distal end. An integrated cable/connector assembly on the proximal and of the catheter connects via an universal cable/connector to any commercially available Arrhythmia Mapping System.

Two devices are available for clinical use: 1. the Constellation Basket from EP Technology; 2. the High Density Mapping Basket Catheter from Cardiac Pathways Corporation.
