Myocardial structure: its contribution to arrhythmogenesis

D.H. Cox, R.W.F. Campbell.

Abstract

A whole variety of cardiac pathology can be arrhythmogenic. Re-entrant arrhythmias have been associated with accessory pathway tachycardias, post MI VT and arrhythmogenic RV dysplasia. The anatomy and structure of focal arrhythmias is still unknown. Hampering progress is the lack of collaborative histology.
