H Dargie

Henry J Dargie is Consultant Cardiologist at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow, and Co-Director of the Clinical Research Initiative in Heart Failure at the University of Glasgow, UK. He is also a member of the Management Group of the University’s School of Cardiovascular Studies. While Professor Dargie’s main research is concerned with heart failure, his area of interest also covers the mechanisms in, and cardiovascular phar-macology of, angina pectoris. He also has an interest in exercise testing in cardiac disease and the relationship between exercise and health.
