Michael B Fowler is Professor of Medicine ion the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Stanford University Medical Center, California, USA. His major research interest is in the clinical management of heart failure and he has published widely in this area. He has been involved in many of the major clinical trials examining the role of ß blockade in heart failure.
