Vulnerable myocardium
|

This is a myocardium which is in danger to present SCD. The chain
of events leading to SCD may occur in two ways: an acute ischemic syndrome (AIS), especially acute
myocardial infarction (MI), or a primary arrhythmic event (PAE). The markers of vulnerable myocardium
in these two situations are different.
