Evaluation of syncope in the athlete

Introduction

Syncope dizziness, collapse and loss of consciousness are among the most worrisome symptoms an athlete can have since they can portend risk for death. The cause is often uncertain and difficult to diagnose. This report addresses an approach to the athlete with syncope.
